Carry water in a safe and secure way with a water bag from MSR!
A water bag is the perfect tool for easily carrying water on your kayak trips. We have carefully reviewed the market and found that the MSR Dromedary bag is the best for kayak paddling.
Made of durable cordura fabric with a smart 3-in-1 opening, it is as easy to use as it is reliable.
We recommend two smaller (4-6 liter) water bags instead of one large one, as it makes it easier to have an even load in the kayak. The water bags are also great to use as an anchor for your tent when camping on rocks.
The recommended water amount for a 5-day trip is about 15 liters.
If we ask Emil, he recommends two 6L water bags, a Klean Kanteen Wide 1900 ml for having at lunch or when you set up camp to avoid carrying the whole water bag, and a water bottle (or other fluid system) to have when you paddle. Together, you will have about 15 liters of water in a smart way.
Material: Cordura-1000, BPA-free polyuretan
Volym: 4 or 6 L

Melker is a classic swedish name and it was the name of a well known character in Saltkråkan, a television show that started 1964 in Sweden. The script was written by Astrid lindgren Swedens most famous children author.
The series takes place in Stockholm archipelago and therefor it is something many swedes think about when they think about the archipelago.
We took the name Melker as a hommage to the Tv-series and see it as one of our missions to help people to great experiences on and by the water.
