Kayaking has really changed my life over the last few years! From being the occational paddle once in while when the opportunity arose, it has become my year-round focus and something the rest of my life kind of revolves around.
It all started during the pandemic when someone started a "paddle and babble" group in Stockholm; a way to talk and meet at safe distance. I was assigned a Rödlöga and fell in love and also realized that the "babble" part was not for me.
Being in the kayak is my meditation, my quiet time, my relaxation as well as my energizing - and I prefer to experience that on my own. Whether it's a lap around Kungsholmen before work or a camping trip looking out over an endless horizon; my shoulders relax and my breathing slows down and I have a smile on my face.
Being able to pack my tent and head out into the archipelago is the best experience ever, and the wild camping has become as important as the kayaking itself.

Why do you paddle the Melker Rödlöga LV?

It just fits me like a glove! It also holds everything I need for camping, with room for more and is gorgeous at the same time! I get so may compliments, even from non kayakers 🙂
