The outer layer (color) of a kayak consists of what is called gelcoat.
If you have a crack in your kayak and need to repair it or just want to improve its appearance from the scratches of the season, you can fill it in with some gelcoat.
Here you can find gelcoat for all Melkers kayak models. Keep in mind that the color tone may vary slightly between different batches and that the surface may have faded along the way.
Note that we only sell specific colors that are tailored to our kayaks. The color description may not be accurate if you plan to use it for something else.
A can contains approximately 2 dl of gelcoat.

Melker is a classic swedish name and it was the name of a well known character in Saltkråkan, a television show that started 1964 in Sweden. The script was written by Astrid lindgren Swedens most famous children author.
The series takes place in Stockholm archipelago and therefor it is something many swedes think about when they think about the archipelago.
We took the name Melker as a hommage to the Tv-series and see it as one of our missions to help people to great experiences on and by the water.
